“There was not much response when I first announced the event at our church. Later, a lady who was visiting at that time came up to me. She put $200 into my hands and said it was for WALK4BIBLES. I was stunned and I felt it was God’s confirmation that I am doing the right thing.

On Saturday 26 May, enthusiastic Christians in Toowoomba walked in Queens Park East Creekwalk to provide Bibles for China. As the last walker finished his walk in steps, this marks the end of this year’s WALK4BIBLES event.
Over the last few months, more than 2,900 Christians around 7 cities in Australia have united to support Christians in China either by walking or sponsoring. To date, current donations have provided 12,715 Bibles for China.
“We gratefully thank all the walkers and their sponsors for their generous hearts in helping place Scriptures in China,” says Grahame Smith, Bible League’s National Director in Australia.
Most of all, we thank God for His wonderful blessings and amazing grace. The commitment and purpose displayed by our supporters was beyond our expectation. God has also blessed both the Christians in China and those in Australia through this event.
The testimonies from our supporters again and again witness to the goodness of God.
