Worldwide—International Bible League Day of Prayer
 |
| Starting from our office in New Zealand, we will be "praying around the globe" on this day! |
Today (6 June) is the International Bible League Day of Prayer. This is a day that all Bible League offices around the world will set aside for prayer, fasting and thanksgiving to God.
We believe that Bible League’s ministry belongs to God and we depend on Him for guidance. We are committed to have this ministry grounded in His Word and bathed in prayer.
We invite you to pray with us and for us on this day:
Scripture Placement:
- Pray that the more than 2 billion people—new believers, persecuted Christians and the unreached people groups—around the world who are waiting for God’s Word will receive their copy of the Bible.
Project Philip:
- Pray that all those who engage in the study of God’s Word through Bible League’s Project Philip Bible study will come to faith.
- Pray that God’s grace will strengthen them as they begin their journey of discipleship. Pray that all ‘Philips’ (Bible study leaders) will be filled with skills and spiritual understanding as they lead the study.
Church Planter Training:
- Pray for wisdom and perseverance for all Church Planters as they plant and pastor their churches.
- Pray that all newly baptised believers will develop strong relationship with His Church.
Persecuted Christians Ministry:
- Pray that the 200 million persecuted Christians in over 60 countries around the world will be strengthened by God’s precious Word.
- Pray for protection, perseverance, comfort and hope amidst their suffering.
Wycliffe Bible Translation Partnership:
- Thank God that Bible League is able to distribute Scriptures in more than 400 languages around the world through our partnership with Wycliffe Bible Translators.
- Pray that God will grant spiritual understanding, skills and accuracy for the translators in their translation.
- Pray that this partnership will help more people to receive God’s Word in their heart language.
